A tour for people that want to experience something more that just a typical bus-tour.

Hello to all, I am Claudio.and I will be your Tour director. I planned this enticing14 day trip to my homeland in the perfect traveling month of September, with a combination of activities to maximize the well rounded traveller's experience: walking, hiking, cycling and visitation to famous historic and artistic sites.  Join me while I will personally escort this small group to areas largely ignored by most tourists, to witness some of my favorites North Italy places, as the Italians would experience it. 

We will go from some beautiful city's little know corners (Bergamo's "scalette" stairways), through a cycling-trail up a very characteristic valley, to get a real taste of the "San Pellegrino" mineral water. Then, some wonderful hiking of trails, and when you reach the top, you will be looking as far as Cervino, and Monte Rosa, plus the Lecco-Como lakes. In another day trip you will witness the first trickle of water falling for more than 300 meters /1000 ft, followed by the full force of water been liberated by the Barbellino Dam (Serio Falls). Yes, I will also take you to some known places, like the Balcony of Juliet (Verona), and the streets walked by Casanova and Marco Polo in Venezia, and why not a little city tour and maybe shopping in the high fashion district of Milano.This trip is geared for active adults who enjoy the beauty of nature, as well as taking time to visit art museums and historic sites.  With a combination of hiking, walking and biking, this is an adventure and discovery of mountains, rivers, lakes, cities, culture, great food and of course Italian wine.
